SRP 1000 is a quality, hot-applied roofing asphalt that is compatible with standard roofing equipment and can be applied either by hand mopping or with the use of a mechanical spreader. All SRP asphalts provide excellent weathering characteristics and long term performance in hot-applied built-up roofing assemblies.
BENEFITS:
- Physical properties that result in long performance.
- Exceeds minimum requirements of ASTM Specification D 312, Type III.
SRP 1200 is a polymer modified, hot-applied roofing asphalt that is compatible with standard roofing equipment and can be applied either by hand mopping or with the use of a mechanical spreader. All SRP asphalts provide excellent weathering characteristics and long term performance in hot-applied built-up roofing assemblies.
BENEFITS:
- Can be applied by conventional methods, thus eliminating need for costly and specialized equipment purchases.
- Secures gravel cover and provides a weather resistant top protective coating.
- Superior physical properties result in higher performing BUR systems.
- Exceeds minimum requirements of ASTM Specification D 312, Type III.
SRP 2000 is a quality, hot-applied asphalt specifically formulated with high performance SEBS polymer to provide much improved weatherability and flexibility when compared to conventional hot applied asphalt. It is compatible with standard roofing equipment and can be applied either by hand mopping or with the use of a mechanical spreader. The refining operation is designed to ensure superior weathering characteristics and the highest performance throughout the life of the roofing system.
BENEFITS:
- Very good cold weather flexibility.
- Complies with requirements of ASTM D 6152 – 99 standard specification for SEBS modified mopping asphalt used in roofing.
SRP 5000 is a coal tar product that has been modified with propriety polymers to provide unique performance properties in BUR membrane assemblies. SRP 5000 may be used as an interply adhesive and as a surfacing floodcoat with gravel. The inherent coal tar molecular structure of SRP 5000 produces characteristics that result in resistance to water, UV and vapor penetration. In addition, the unique flexibility and elongation characteristics provided by the polymer modification yield improved performance I cold temperature flex, adhesion and many other key properties.
BENEFITS:
- Very good resistance to UV.
- Ideal for use in low slope BUR systems where temporary ponding water conditions may exist.
- Superior physical properties result in higher performing BUR systems.
SRP Tar Max is specifically manufactured to provide unique performance properties as a high quality, coal tar pitch for use in the construction of built-up roof membrane assemblies. SRP Tar Max may be used as an interply adhesive and as a surfacing floodcoat with gravel.
BENEFITS:
- Molecular structure of coal tar provides inherent resistance to weathering.
- Conforms to ASTM D 450, Type I.
- Self-healing characteristics of coal tar provide extra protection.
